Statewide Bass Fishing Season started for scores of high school teams, including Ennis. Last weekend they sent 11 teams, which consist of solo and duo anglers, along with a boat captain, to Lake Palestine.

Small College Football Update

Three area small college football teams are in action this weekend, including SAGU at Texas Wesleyan and Navarro College, who hosts Texas A&T, both games on Saturday, Oct. 5.
