The Local Homeless Coalition in Ellis County will hold a round table discussion for the general public on Affordable Housing Options for Ellis County on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, from 6:30 p.m.

The Ennis Retired School Personnel Association serves eastern Ellis County and the surrounding areas. ERSPA meets the first Thursday of every other month at 2 p.m.

The offices of the City of Ennis will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.

Hwy 287, Waxahachie. The guest speakers will be Marty Muscari, Executive Director for North Texas Aging and Disability, and Jackson Longan who is the Regional Outreach Manager for Oxford House Inc.

Theatre Rocks Veteran director Bill Rhoten is pursuing a female actress for the leading role in the February premier of “Forever,” a play set in 1941-42. The two-set venue is written and directed by Rhoten.
