Ennis youths are making their mark at the Ft. Worth Exposition and Stock show this year. Destany Youngblood’s longhorn steer, Redstar Arizona, won Reserve Grand Champion Steer in the Texas Longhorn Breeders of Tomorrow Youth Division Show. Christopher Nicholson was able to capture a calf during one of this year’s calve scrambles. Nicholson won a $500.00 purchase certificate for a show Heifer.

Count on the Ennis Chamber of Commerce to make available the Ellis County candidates currently running for office at a Meet & Greet that will be open for area residents. It is set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, at the Chamber of Commerce. It is located next to the Quality Inn, Denny’s and Whataburger along the service road on southbound I-45.
