Christmas and New Year’s Eve events were at a premium in Ennis last month as locals enjoyed the city’s stepped up holiday festivities.

Ennis is different than many towns in that there are few stories of reputed ghosts connected to the city’s old residences and public buildings.

Midwestern State University recognized 1,036 honor students for the Fall 2021 semester, including Ennis native, Caden Corry, who was credited, along with 369 others for the President’s Honor Roll.
