Frank Anthony Westbrook, whose integrity, support, and service inspired and strengthened family, friends, and generations, went to be with the Lord on September 18, at the age of 92, after passing away peacefully at his home. He was born October 20, 1929, to Clyde Frank and the former Janie Mae Webb in Kerens, TX, the youngest of four children. After Frank graduated from Kerens High School in 1946, where he played on the football team while also working on the family farm, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served honorably in the Korean War. He served aboard the lead ship of the convoy transporting U.S. Marines and Republic of Korea troops from Japan to Korea for the Inchon Beach landing, as well as aboard a destroyer escort in Pearl Harbor, and kept in touch with Navy buddies throughout his life.
