Exhibit running until Jan. 27 in Waxahachie

Ennis High School announced the December 9 results of the all-region band audition, with two seniors, Jackson Yoder and Carsen Kapavik, earning first chair. A third upper-classman, Carson Bunch, a junior, collected third chair. The veteran trio play bass trombone, tuba and the bassoon, respectively.

Completion of a new transportation facility adjacent to Ennis Junior High School culminates a series of strategic and cost-effective moves in decades by the Ennis ISD.

Growing Up in Ennis

On Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, NARFE held the monthly meeting at Bubba’s BBQ in Ennis. Derek Kester, executive director of Compassion Corsican, presented to the NARFE Chapter what his company does for the citizens of Navarro County. Compassion Corsicana gives food and other assistance to people of need. Their main office is located on 111 E. 1st Ave., Corsicana, Texas 75110 and their main telephone number is 903-874-4971. After his speech and questions, Mr. Kester was presented food and money from NARFE Chapter 1191 members.
