Ennis splashpads assured safe in light of Arlington tragedy
Details about a young boy who died after becoming infected with a rare brain-eating amoeba have been connected to a Texas splash pad in Arlington. Tarrant County Public Health officials were notified that the boy was hospitalized with primary amebic meningoencephalitis, a rare but often fatal infection. He died six days later.
