The average person can help his or her immune system do its job more effectively by making the immune system as strong as it can be.

Doing without the National Polka Fest in Ennis during Memorial Day weekend was difficult for many revelers. Not only did COVID-19 force the cancellation of the event, including dancing in Czech attire and knocking down a few pints of pivo, but it also meant there would be no kolache eating contest.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University, the only four year college or university in Ellis County, has announced plans for the return of in-person classes this fall. SAGU, with over 2,000 students, will also start football, volleyball and both mens and women’s soccer practices in August.
