Terrell Harris, who has served as AP at Ennis for three years, accepted a virtual lateral offer from Ferris High School. Ennis ISD wasted little time in asking Jesse Tovar, a soccer coach and teacher, to step up and fill the void. The mutual deals take place immediately.

Sokol Hall will play host to the Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen and Youth Royalty Pageant on Saturday, July 12. The public is welcome to attend the festivities, which begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. The pageant follows and includes a lunch before concluding at 3:00 p.m.
