As I typed up the details for an upcoming “marriage renewal” workshop, it occurred to me that the decision to marry comes with absolutely no mandatory instructions.

Hello! I am from Chicago IL, and I had the pleasure of attending this year’s Ubbi Dubbi Music Festival in Ennis, TX with my boyfriend, Ryan.

I would like to take some time to express my utmost gratitude to Ennis and the surrounding communities for hosting the festival. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

I just wanted to say how grateful I and my friends are to the city of Ennis for hosting Ubbi Dubbi. The city was so welcoming and I hope that we were good guests.

How reassuring it was to see the Bluebonnet City blooming in all of her brilliance over the weekend during the first outdoor event in a year in Ennis.

One thing that most of us notice is meanness, though almost always in other people. For example, of all the mean things that a person can do to me, there is an act, though likely unintended, that really, really gets my goat.

By today’s standards, I grew up with multiple possibilities of being maimed, sickened, or dying waiting around every corner. It is a wonder any kid I knew grew into adulthood.
