When I go through the drivethrough and pick up my order, whether it’s a prescription, a bank receipt, or an order at a restaurant, I am seldom ever surprised at what’s in the bag.

The reason I believe the U.S. should support Israel comes from two sources; conservative ideology and biblical ideology. The biggest reason for my supporting them is biblical.

Following every election is the swearing in of the newly elected or, in the case of the Ennis Independent School District Board of Trustees, the re-elected.

If aliens from space were to invade and ask Earthlings to take them to their leader, who would it be? Normally it would be the President of the Free World (POTUS), but it is clearly not Joe Biden.

Most of my earliest memories of my Mother are black-and-white snippets of her standing before the kitchen sink washing dishes and wearing a blue apron with navy and red flowers, which tied in a bow in the back.

My name is Robert Whitmore and attended Ubbi Dubbi at 53 years old. I’d like to describe Ubbi Dubbi from an old guy’s point of view who entered the Rave scene in 1984 and has loved it ever since.

Last week’s Bluebonnet Festival was like a chain-break for many. Following a year of ball-and-chain resistance to shopping, dining out, vacations and even family gatherings, the turnout downtown was refreshing.
