Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?

Did you hear about the day that Clarence had dreaded for years, the day his wife passed away? He dialed up the funeral home and said, “Bessie has died this morning at the homestead. Would y’all please come and pick up her body?”

We’re taking a break from politics to discuss one of my favorite foods. Many believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For me, it is definitely the most enjoyable one. Sitting down to a meal of bread, eggs, and sausage or bacon, with a cup of dark-roasted coffee is my heaven on earth, bringing back memories of the farm table of my youth, heavily laden with nutritious food. I often enjoy my own sourdough bread or heart-healthy pancakes with my meal, but biscuits are certainly my favorite.

The advent of the coronavirus earlier this year has had a huge impact on the world, especially considering it has been decades since a bug has affected the planet. Not since the Y2K bug threatened to shut down the world’s computers on January 1, 2020. Everyone was on pins and needles until midnight struck and systems were still operating.

As a daily reader of the most liberal-siding media, and one who seldom, if ever watches Fox, this week’s performance by the mainstream media has completely gone all-out in their attempts to brain-wash the great unwashed.

Those calling for an end of police, or to weaken them by defunding city and county budgets, have their complaints with how some in law enforcement behave when interacting with the public.

Don’t be surprised if a political apocalypse takes place in the coming weeks. If you’ve been paying attention to the media, both print and electronic, the Democratic Party is not going to accept anything less than a coronation in January.
