A student at Ennis High School, Braeden Carroll, earned a Gold Seal award from the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) for his recent 22x33 painting, named Paka Tembea, meaning Cat Walk.

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), Chapter 1191, will hold its monthly meeting at the Sirloin Stockade in Corsicana on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 11 a.m until 1 p.m.

Called the Bulldog Academy, the group began the program as freshmen.
