Ennis Public Library, over a year removed from relocating its contents enabling a complete renovation of its home at 501 W. Ennis Ave., will return home next Monday, March 10.

St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Ennis is hosting its annual Mardi Gras Gumbo supper, which is free to the public on Tuesday, March 4, from 5-8 p.m., located across from Old City Lake at 901 Park St., west of N. Preston St.

Copeland’s rich soil expects a big harvest

Nowhere in Ennis are more youth involved in athletics than at Bluebonnet Park every spring and summer. While the Parks & Recreation Department does plenty to keep up the fields and facilities, it is the leadership of Trevor Wilhoite and a team of adults who comprise the Ennis Baseball and Ennis Softball associations who manage the age-level leagues who get the credit.
