Following the retirement of Mike Eastland, who served 30-years as Executive Director of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, which is comprised of 17 locally elected officials, the Executive Board voted in favor of Ellis County Judge Todd Little as his successor.

Leading the way for school events, most often during athletic competition, will be the new varsity of 27 and the mascot tandem of Gracie Aldama and Lola Beckett. All totaled, there are 9 seniors, 11 juniors and 9 sophomores. They consist of:
