It is all around us, isn’t it? People calling for justice. Crying out for justice. Pleading with tears for justice to be served.

In our kitchen, one of my two simple bar stools lost one of its dowels. I should not be surprised because the stools are probably 30 years old and, as I well know, things can decline during three decades of life.

Unemployment claims increased dramatically in the wake of the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
