Storm blows through Ennis, no injuries
A vertical line of thunderstorms ripped across Texas, headed east on Tuesday night and into midday Wednesday, including the immediate area surrounding Ennis. Strong, high winds, heavy rain, lightning, hail and at least one tornado were part of a system that was preceded by severe thunderstorm warnings.

Last weekend’s Bluebonnet Trails Festival went over well with attendees of activities downtown and the wildflower trails themselves telling the Ennis News it was an enjoyable event. Whether they listened to the concerts, purchased items in the merchandise stalls, enjoyed delicious food or spent their day out on the various country roads, people insist they had a great time.
