Falkenbach, Estes on ballot; Early voting starts Oct. 21

Ennis Regional Medical Hospital hosted a festive fall meet-and-greet to officially introduce Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Penny Nole on Tuesday, Oct.15.

Ennis Golden Circle Senior Activity Center has successfully completed the Step Up Scale Down program, a 12-week weight management and healthy lifestyle initiative offered through the Ellis County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. The program, designed to encourage healthier eating habits and increased physical activity, saw enthusiastic participation from seniors at the center, contributing to overall wellness in the community.

Veteran district Superintendent Jay Tullos has announced his retirement plans to the Ennis Independent School District board of trustees according to Director of Communications, Bill Honza. He informed board members that his plans are to remain in office through the current school year and retire next summer.
