On August 13, 2024, Caleb Loftis with Community National Bank & Trust of Texas (Corsicana branch) spoke to National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1191 group about all kinds of fraud that occurs in our area. Mr. Loftis gave examples of several types of fraud. He gave tips to keep from falling victim to scams.

Sometimes parents may be unaware that their children have low vision or other issues compromising their sight, particularly when children are too young to verbalize their impairments. Ennis Fire Dept. locates its first-ever firetruck

Ennis has a veteran cast directing the band, as well a lone newcomer in Dylan Sailors. He comes to Ennis from Calhoun ISD and got his music degree from the University of North Texas. He will be an assistant director at the high school and will direct the HS jazz band as well as a concert band. He is set to teach a beginner class at Alamo.
