Jones running for third, final term
Two-term City Commissioner for Ward 2, Bruce Jones, announced plans to campaign for a third and final time under the city’s term-limit ruling. Describing his bid as “my Last Dance,” he told The Ennis News, “I want to finish what I started. I think I owe it to the citizens of Ward 2 and the whole city of Ennis to continue to do all that I can to help them in any way possible.” His jurisdiction covers Ward 2, which is south of Ennis Avenue from Hall Street to I-45 and north of Lake Bardwell Drive. Jones’ care for citizens, however, knows no bounds.
