Ennis Garden Club has announced the 2023 Summer Yards of the Season. The Yards of the Season are selected three times a year: Autumn, Spring and Summer. They are nominated by members of the EGC and one is selected from each of the four Ennis ISD elementary school districts.Homes are chosen using the following criteria: curb appeal, neatness, seasonal landscaping and owner involvement.
CEP is part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, and provides local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools in low-income areas with an alternative approach for operating school meal programs. Eligible schools must pay the difference between the level of financial resources allowed by law and the total cost of operating the programs.
Older adults and people with disabilities who are on Medicaid (and their authorized representatives) should be on the lookout for important notices from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) about their Medicaid renewal. Renewal packets are being sent out in phases. Renewal notices are being mailed in a yellow envelope with “Action Required” printed in red. People who opted to go paperless will receive a notice through their Your Texas Benefits account at yourtexasbenefits.com.
