Bluebonnets in Bloomtown
The promise of the slow-at-peeking state flower, the beloved bluebonnet brought great crowds to the annual Bluebonnet Festival last weekend. Mild weather in April limited the typical explosion of blooms of blue, but there was zero evidence downtown as the festival drew what is estimated as the largest turnout.

Married for 21-years to Melody, his wife, they share two students - Kiersi, who is enrolled at Texas A&M University, and Kayden, a senior at Prosper High School. He has been a deacon and a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church – North campus, for 16 years. He enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and golfing.
